Eleanor Kwan, the CEO and founder of ShapeYourVision, launched her own company based on her passion for sales & business, and her vision to share her knowledge and expertise with others through consulting and custom sales training.
With over 10 years of sales & business development experience, Ms. Kwan has worked for a multi-national information provider for seven years to help establish their Canadian sales operation and manage key accounts in a North American territory. She developed and implemented successful strategies to exceed sales quotas and was named top sale performer in the company's International Division. Her strengths include needs assessment, sales planning to maximize growth and profitability, goal setting, expansion into new market areas, facilitation & training, contract negotiation, customer service, effective communications, team building and leadership development.
In addition, Ms. Kwan has worked for a local book printer & publisher to help the company successfully expand into new market areas. She has also worked for an outsourcing company doing inside sales to help the company's corporate clients generate qualified sales leads for their outside sales force, and has sold products and services on their behalf. While working for the same company, her role expanded to developing telemarketing scripts for key clients and training new sales representatives.
Ms. Kwan has a Honours B.A. from the University of Toronto, a Certificate in Magazine Journalism from Ryerson University and is a Certified Sales Professional with the Canadian Professional Sales Association.
An advocate for healthy living, Ms. Kwan also volunteers her time as a speaker for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario's (HSFO) Community Presentation Program to provide information to those groups who seek it, and to increase awareness of heart disease and stroke.
